The end of week 2 and exciting announcements for you!

Happy Friday fellow shippers! As we close week 2 of the Ship-a-ton we have a few exciting announcements for you.

The Shippies

We’ve officially announced The Shippies: the awards for apps representing the pinnacle of excellence in the app industry.

• You can start submitting nominations today! And there’s even an indie category for solo developers.
• 1st prize winners of each category in the Ship-a-ton will also be receiving a Shippy Trophy!

Ship apps fast webinar with Jordi Bruin

This Monday Charlie Chapman is interviewing the Apple Design Award nominated Jordi Bruin about his 2-2-2 method for shipping apps fast. Register now to join us live and learn from one of the best shippers around!

We’ve been blown away by the number of you building in public across the internet! A few that have inspired us so far are:

• Rudrank Riyam’s started a Youtube channel building a cool looking mesh gradient app.
• Black belt mansdesmez0 is showing his progress building his BJJ app over on TikTok.
• Irem has been tweeting daily documenting her story designing and building a food logging app
• Oner’s beautiful foosball tracking app has been coming along on his Mastodon account.
• The great Chris Ching from the excellent CodeWithChris Youtube channel has joined the Ship-a-ton and is building in public on Twitter.
